Yuppo is brought to you by Sucxess LLC, a Michigan based company founded in 2002. We have a long history in search engine optimization and data aggregation. More recently, we have been developing tools to help patent law firms improve their efficiency. Based in Detroit we won’t deny our automotive heritage. Now we are bringing concepts that are well established in automotive engineering to patent law: Continuous improvement, data-driven decision making based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE).
Patent Application Monitoring
Patent Application Monitoring is the first product we are making available to the public. One of our clients had filed several Third Party Submissions and was tracking the status of those applications my manually looking them up in the USPTO’s Public PAIR system every so often. We developed a tool that monitors the status automatically and sends an email as soon as a change in the application’s status is detected. On Yuppo.com we are making this tool available for free (at least for now). Our goal is to keep it free, but we may revisit that decision in the future.
At this point we consider Yuppo an early Beta. If you sign up, you are definitely an early adopter. And with that, we trust you will see bugs.
What information do we collect?
Our server collects web traffic logs, including your IP address and which applications you search for on Yuppo.
We collect information from you when you fill out our patent monitoring form. When you submit your email address to monitor an application than obviously we keep your email address and the associated application number in a database.
What do we use your information for?
The information you provide will be used to regularly monitor the USPTO’s PAIR database and alert you in case we detect an update. We may also send you a regular update regarding the application, even if we have not detected a change. We believe this provides a bit more confidence that we are still working for you. When sending you an email we may use the opportunity to include advertisement for products and services that we feel you may be interested in.
How do we protect your information?
We are certainly trying to not get hacked. But if you are worried about your privacy please consider using an email address that does not reveal your identity. We will happily accept “firstname.lastname@example.org” to provide you updates about your applications.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
